Have you heard the RUMOR around Glasgow?
Hi and welcome to my blog! Let me begin with my recent experience at Glasgow's newest club RUMOR, located at Royal Exchange Square.
My first thought of RUMOR was about the stunning interior design. Flowers everywhere, pastel colours covering the entire room, neon signs hanging on the wall and suede chairs circling the bar. The people behind RUMOR clearly channelled their girly side when they designed the place, and I love it. Plus, 2 swings hanging by the entrance infront of the neon signs, AKA the perfect photo opp. How could I not?
BUT, the drinks do cost a pretty penny. £7.50 for a cocktail is standard but still not cheap, and £8.40 for a double vodka! The drinks taste great, but they’re not ideal for anyone on a budget.
As for the atmosphere, I could tell everyone was having a great time. The energy was electric and contagious. Strangers seemed content and my friends were happier than ever (they were drunk, but still).

The Bar
As well as the interior design, the music was great too - classic pop songs that you could listen to all night.
The best part about the bar was definitely the drink selection - the cocktails!! There's not much else that needs to be said here because who doesn't love a cocktail? Porn star martinis, mojitos, margaritas, you name it!

The Club
I loved the bar, but the club is what made RUMOR stand out. The music is slightly different than the stuff you hear at the bar, but better. A bit more R&B and upbeat - the DJ didn’t play a single song I didn’t like.As for the atmosphere, I could tell everyone was having a great time. The energy was electric and contagious. My official rating of RUMOR...
★★★★☆
I'm not the biggest fan of clubs, so 4 stars is very generous, but well-deserved. The next time you're hitting the town, give RUMOR a go! I'm sure you'll have a great time just like I did.
Top tip when visiting: make sure you're on the guest list. Entry is NOT the cheapest.
Until next time,
Beth x
